1. Open the car’s door and get inside.
2. Locate the brake pedal and pull it back slightly to disengage the parking brake.
3. Remove the two screws that hold the front brake caliper in place (one on each side).
4. Remove the old pads by pulling them off of the rotors. Be careful not to damage the rotor surface!
5. Install the new pads by pressing them firmly onto the rotors. Make sure that they are situated evenly across the entire surface. Replace the screws and caliper assembly, and re-engage the parking brake.
6. Walk around to test your brakes, making sure that they work properly now that they’re replaced.

If your car’s front brake pads are feeling worn down or if they just need to be replaced, changing them is a relatively easy task. Follow these steps to change the pads on your car:

1. Park your car in a safe place so you don’t have to worry about it getting damaged while you’re working on it.
2. Remove the wheel and tire from the car. This will make things a lot easier when you’re trying to remove the brake pad holder.
3. Open up the hood of your car and remove the front grille by unscrewing it from its mounting point near the windshield. You may also need to remove some clips that hold on other pieces of trim around the grille (be careful not to damage them).
4. Locate and remove the three screws holding in the brake pad holder assembly, then carefully pull out the old pads and replace them with new ones. Make sure that they are positioned correctly so that they contact both discs when braking.
